Union Day: Celebrating Unity, Development, and National Identity.

April 26th marks an important day in Tanzania’s history – Union Day, commemorating the union between Tanganyika and Zanzibar that created the United Republic of Tanzania in 1964. It is a day to reflect upon and honor the foundations of solidarity, peace, and collective progress.
In line with TCF’s mission to foster a community of unity, equality, and sustainable development, Union Day teaches us the value of working together for the betterment of our nation. It is a day to celebrate our diversity as a strength and inspire the next generation to become guardians of this unique union.
Through various national events, TCF encourages a culture of respecting history, collaborating for progress, and building a society that upholds human dignity, national identity, and the well-being of all.
