CEO & Founder

Is the CEO of the Tujilane Chizumila Foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and a Masters in International Law certification from Christian Albrechts University, Kiel, Germany. She has over 40 years of experience working in different capacities in government and international organizations. She is currently Judge of the African Court on Human and People’s Rights.

Is an energy economist and corporate executive and the current Executive Secretary of the Energy Regulators Association of East Africa. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Geomatics and a Master of Business Administration both obtained from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. He also has a Master of Science in energy economics and policy from the University of Surrey, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Economics from the University of DundeeScotland. He has a human resource management degree from Kampala International University.

Is a consultant in youth mentorship and skills development and Media regional coordinator for the Energy Regulators Association of East Africa. With an education background in Human Resource Management from Kampala International University, Information technology and corporate branding, Julius adds special energy to the Foundation’s consultancy team.

Ms. Subira Bawji Based in Tanzania. Is an Administration and assistant etiquette trainer, A young vibrant African youth who has a passion for International relations, peace and security, and Human rights with a focus on women. She studied International Relations and Diplomacy at Dr. Salim Ahmed Salim Centre for Foreign Relations. She has volunteered with various organizations including the African Court and UNIC to enable her to gain various skills which she portrays in her daily activities.

He is the Secretary of the Foundation Board and a multi-skilled legal officer, accomplished in Trade and Investment Law, Intellectual Property Law, Contract Law, Public and Private International Law, Law of the Child, and Jurisprudence. He holds a Bachelor of Law (LL.B), Bachelor of Jurisprudence (LLB-Juris), Master of Law in Human Rights (LL.M) from the University of Cape Town, an MBA from ESAMI, and is currently completing a PhD (LL.D) at North West University.

PROJECT COORDINATOR

As the Project Coordinator of the Foundation, he brings over 20 years of experience in agriculture value chain development and sustainable agriculture projects. With a Master's degree in Agricultural Extension from Nanjing Agricultural University, China, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Malawi, his expertise includes managing donor-funded programs, proposal writing, project management, and stakeholder engagement. He has served as a Fisheries Socio-economic Gender & Governance Specialist for the FAO and a Senior Policy Advisor for GIZ, providing policy guidance, technical support, and overseeing project activities. Currently, as an Agribusiness Development Specialist, he designs and implements business management activities, manages program resources, facilitates market linkages, and conducts financial analyses to ensure the sustainability of agribusiness ventures.
